About
This website is dedicated to the technology developed at the
University of Geneva. Its purpose is to
provide an overview of all available technologies and provide useful information
for anyone interested.
Besides that, several software projects are
hosted here.
Ubuntu Repository
An Ubuntu repository has been set up for the distributions lucid and natty. With the introduction of natty,
support for maverick is deprecated.

Open a Terminal. Then, execute the following command:
sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keys.gnupg.net 5BF2F27E2FF452C6
Alternative keyservers are: subkeys.pgp.net and pgp.mit.edu

From the System menu, select Administration --> Software Sources.
Under the Other Software tab, click Add and insert the following apt-line:
deb http://tech.unige.ch/packages [distribution] main
where [distribution] is either lucid or oneiric.

(Optional)
If you want to have access to the package sources as well, click on Add again and insert
the following apt-line:
deb-src http://tech.unige.ch/packages [distribution] main
Again, replace [distribution] by either lucid or oneiric.

Click Close. A new dialog should open, click Reload.
You can now install the following packages using any package manager, such as Synaptic or Aptitude:
